Disclaimer: This post is a parody and made in good humor and with great affection for everyone who has been involved in Legend of the Seeker and "The Sword of Truth" novels. I've been enjoying the books immensely and they have given me food for thought and, yes, inspiration. (Though, not of the grammatical kind ( Read more... )

SERIOUSLY.

Oh dear. My characters are giving me shifty eyes and moving stealthily towards some kind of exit . . .

I hate fanfiction writers. They are like literary rapists.

So true, so true.

Now bend over Mr. Nicekind. I have something for you.

No I think it was obvious. :)

Almost as obvious as Krog. And THE TRUTH.

If you wanna screen it, feel free.

I'm vaguely surprised that I got totally different feedback from what I expected, actually. But it's all good. I'm pleased with any discussion, but especially if I get to talk about 1984 or Toni Morrison even a teenie tiny bit.

I promise I'll try to keep the thinky thoughts out of here in future postings. Unless they are the kind of thinky thoughts which are strictly CRACKTASTIC.

The quality of my things is of the most highest literary caliber. I bet even that James Joyce guy couldn’t write like me. And James Joyce wrote what was considered the greatest novel-thing in the English language, right?

mresundance: Oh, no, I agree. He definitely could not write like you. At all.

Hehehee. Trufax indeed!! Though I prolly would've put a stronger rating on this, she's pretty harsh! Loltastic nevertheless :)

Who's harsh??? I is so confused. There are no womenfolk in the interview, unless Kahlan counts!

Yes. I am afraid I will retire Mr. Nicekind because I was mayhaps a little too hard on the guy. But I might have some kinder, gentlier parodies to provide which are still cracktastic and less thinky thoughts kind of fun. :)

WHEN DOES THE KINK FICATHON THINGIE GO UP, EH?

*clappy hands*

Also: it will be noted that no one in the history of humanity can write like James Joyce. Except him, of course. But thank the goddess. Because he had to go and break the novel by writing what many (knobby wankery) academics consider one of the best novels of the English language.

I think they say that though because people don't understand it unless they have an encylopedia of Cliffs Notes style background reading and/or take a course in the novel at university. D:

I love you James. But that doesn't mean I understand you all the time. :'(
