YES V. V. GOOD BUT, BUT--

Cara was not Cara. :( Where was the mix of INTENSE INTENSITY and PUPPY-LIKE DEVOTION??!!

She doesn't get puppy-like until she's turned from evil-doing, right? I don't know it's been a while since I read it.

I remember when she showed up that she was already turned away from evil-doing and super-attached, but I could be wrong. I just wanted to see her abruptness and her "I KNOW WHAT'S GOOD FOR YOU. SIR."-ness. And instead we got Denna-lite and some sexual tension(??!!!). DNW. :/

Hahahaaa! Spot on, and lolarious to boot! Truly, Cara making the moves on Richard was pretty funny, methinks they might be planning on using her as a sexy wedge to drive between Richard and Kahlan for heartbreak and funtiems!

("a sexy wedge" LOL)

I'm sure the next season will convince me, but what I really liked about book!Cara (not that I even really like the books; I skimmed read them because of this show!) is that she was a good third wheel! I thought she would join the wagon trail and she could boss Richard around and girl-bond with Kahlan. Kahlan needs some female companionship! They are always dyin on her or betraying her or leaving for enchanted island or some shit.
