Update on the below:
Cid's situation worked out. Thank God. Since he mentioned it in public on the DL boards, I'll quickly explain. His sister had a screening that said she might have cervical cancer. They were waiting all week to find out, but it turns out that it's just a mass of cells that should purge on their own.

So the School Days DVD1 is out. Not much of a news item by itself, but it turns out they 'upgraded' it slightly. By upgraded, I mean that you can see Kotonoha's tits in the bath scenes now. On one hand, why not? After the last episode it's going to be R rated anyhow. It's like a slasher movie having a few tit flashes. It's not going to change much of anything. On the other hand...well...
I dunno. It bothers me, even if I think Kotonoha having a nude scene makes more sense considering SD's tone. If you're planning on an ending like SD had, why censor things for TV? To make controversy? Possible, but this doesn't quite play for me. Instead, I like to think that they didn't make up their minds on the bad end until midway through. This would explain the various tone shifts at 1/3 and 2/3rds through. From light love triangle to emotional mess triangle to horror/black comedy/stab fest makes more sense when you consider it like that.

Eb's planning a Mutants and Masterminds game now that S/S is dead. While it isn't 100% that this will happen, or that the tone will allow this:
That sounds like a concept for a really fucked up superhero character. A woman who can generate gravity effects with her gigantic boobs.
