(no subject)
So Clannad started yesterday. As a successor to Kanon given to the lavish attentions of Kyo-Ani, it has a pedigree of pure class. So grabbing the first episode's a no brainer and I watch it ASAP. This should be good, right? Right?
My only thought after watching it is '...eh.' I dunno. It's not -bad- offhand, but it's not quite good. More like cotton candy; it's fun and fluffy but it goes right through you, forgotten in a mere moment after consumption. The details passed through my mind like dust in the wind, I couldn't hold onto any of it. None of it was breathtaking, captivating, interest getting. For whatever reason, the first episode lacked -it-. We'll see how it goes.
