So I'm watching the highlights again (I really don't know why I fucking do it to myself, it's just as painful to watch again) and then there's all the post-match interviews where --
a) Karen Carney is like the little kid who just wants to fucking STAY man, to stay and to win and she really did not like the fact that she's going home. Bless her. She's all, if Abby did it by accident, fair enough, but if not, that's so fucking out of order it ain't even funny! etc. I fucking love that kid.
b) Faye White still wasn't with it properly after playing most of the match with a broken nose. Typical center back, hard as fuck.
c) Abby was all, "dude, totally not my fault! That's soccer football, it's rough!", and only managed to make me fucking ♥ her even more (STOP IT ABBY. I'M SUPPOSED TO HATE YOU NOW. FFS).
d) Oh Rachel Brown. I wish you had a better game, I really do. I can take some comfort in the fact that you are quite fit, but really? Ack. You don't really deserve that poor performance since you've been pretty good all tournament. Le sigh.
e) I realise that we really played the wrong tactics (we should have put Alex Scott back in defense and put Yankey on the wing with Carney on the other wing, so with Chapman and Jill Scott in midfield, pushed Kelly up to play just in front of them and then Aluko/whoever off her) and we REALLY need to sort out our striker situation, pronto. Give Sanderson more time on the pitch. Fucking lose Aluko who has basically done fuck all for the past couple of year. FFS. SHE HASN'T SCORED FOR AGES. SHE HAS NO COMPOSURE. WHY CAN'T YOU SEE??

f) I also realise that yes, this is indeed the most typical of England sides, who manage to make me fall completely in love with them before BREAKING MY HEART.
