Another Natalia icon? OH OKAY THEN.
Due to lack of Otalia today (ohnoes, etc), I decided to re-watch yesterday's bit. Several times. And have come to the conclusion that, indeed, no matter how much awesome CC is (and, holy mother of god she is AWESOME, don't get me wrong), yesterday? JESSICA FUCKING OWNED. She was fucking immense.
It's sort of about time she really shone. I always thought she has been awesome throughout this storyline, but a lot of the time she's been outshone by CC just by pure power and physical presence, etc. But yesterday, there she was, still quiet and studied and reserved and beautiful, but finally it was about her and how she was keeping this internal struggle going, and actually showing that just by the way she used her eyes and the body language and the way she said certain things ("Really?" in the kitchen at the end. omg I actually nearly squealed the first time I saw that), man. I just.
I know. I'm such a fangirl, it's getting ridiculous.
And I also spent a lot of time just staring at her cheekbones. She has marvelous cheekbones.
(The Advocate interview is quite possibly the greatest interview ever, if only because they talk about how awesome it is to work with each other. Better be careful ladies, the fangirls will start shipping you if you're not :D
