Oh, my phone. Whatever went wrong with you? Maybe I shouldn't have had you with me when I let Tendou finish things...

[the buzz subsides, causing the video to start up; the colors and various settings are all off]

Hmm... what to do...

Yeah... but I've never heard of anyone actually needing to buy a new phone though, have you?

You just conveniently "lose" your old phone and then a new one appears nearby. Or just go to an unoccupied apartment. There's usually a spare one there...

...but I'm attached to this phone. I like it. It survived Tendou's killing strike on me... and that alone says a lot.

Then why don't you just find somebody who knows something about electronics and fixing things? They should be able to help.

That's what I'm exactly trying to do!

I know where the best blacksmiths and clothes shops in both the City and the Underground are because I need quality weapons as a fighter, and quality clothes because that's what I've always worn... but how often do you think I work with electronics?

I delegate most of the stuff like that to Yuuko. Advantage of having a manager. You could ask her who fixes the wiring in Victrola...

Isn't fixing the wiring and fixing a phone two different things?

As far as I'm concerned there are wires in phones, so... why not?

Would you call an electrician to fix your plumbing? They tend to have different jobs.

[i wouldn't be surprised if Chuck has done this before, if you know what I mean.]

Non-sense. I never had something not fixed, no matter who I called in to fix it.

Huh? I can't make sense of your logic.

It doesn't matter who you call, if you have the money.

You're point being? I have the money, but even then, I still like using my money to its full use.

[damn it... must resist temptation of using the term telos under these circumstances!]

It doesn't matter how you spend the money as long as you're enjoying what you paid for...

...but the pleasure may not be want you're needing. The random spending of money causes a lost in value. You should be reinvesting it, rather than spending it on whim.
