[Hey man, your phone is ringing! Imagine how many wrong numbers Frankie must have dialed first.]

[There's a scratching noise as he moves back towards the speaker.]

I hate to ask.

You know, you said if I ended up needing to uh. Bite?

I kinda need to.

It's no problem at all! I did offer, didn't I?

Do you need me to come over there or can you make it here?

Depends where here is? Travel's no problem, but shit looks different from above.

I'm at the Victrola, so if you can come here, I'll move off out of sight so you can get a bite to eat.

[Though he doesn't appreciate being stuck for two damn days as a bat, Frankie does appreciate the fact that the City has more or less provided the appropriate instincts for getting around in the wrong body. Then again, they say there are links between vampirism and Desmondus rotundus; looking at subsiders, maybe it isn't so far-fetched.

Finding his way to Victrola isn't so bad, since he knows more or less where it is. Frankie lands a little ways off from the entrance, on top of a low half-wall-- safer than the ground-- trying to spot Tsurugi.]

[Standing outside, Tsurugi notes the flapping of a bat approaching the Victrola. He stands back until Frankie lands nearby, then moves out into view.]

Frankie! Come down.

[He motions for Frankie to land on his shoulder or head, so that they can move inside to somewhere more private without any problem.]

[Calling his name gets the bat's attention, and with a funny flexing of his folded wings he leaps off the surface and back into the air. Landing is a little awkward-- he hasn't wholly got the hang of it-- but he manages to make it to the man's shoulder without quite smacking him in the face with a wing.]

Goddamn this place is big.

New shapes bring new perspectives... I can feel for you after I finally realized what my body could do because I was a Worm. I started seeing the world in completely new ways.

[Tsurugi moves through the club until he stops in a secluded area of the club which allows Tsurugi a complete view of the club while not being seen.]

Hand, wrist, arm or neck... where would you prefer? Or somewhere else?

[It's a little awkward, but he manages to balance on Tsurugi's shoulder as they move. The whole thing is faintly embarrassing; but he's not saying anything and bats can't really look ashamed. Really, he probably could fend for himself and find some hapless farm animal-- but with people offering, it seems just as easy to go this route. And there's a guilty little part of him that misses what he used to be, which makes it easier to give in.]

Arm's fine. Doesn't need to be a big vein-- better if it's not. So you know...

[He shifts a little on his perch, pulling his wings in; extended they made for better balance, but this way it's easier to walk.]

This'll probably hurt like a bitch. You're sure you want to?

Alright. That sounds fine... and don't worry, I have a much higher pain tolerance than what most humans have... one of the strange perks of being a Worm.

[Tsurugi sits down in a booth, where he proceeds to take off his suit jacket, and roll of the sleeve on his arm. He rests his arm on the table before motioning to it for Frankie to go ahead.]
