[ The image comes into focus showing the front courtyard of the Opera Abandoned, which looks undisturbed for a long moment.
Water can be heard running very close by - it seems the device is sitting on the stone edge of the fountain outside of the building.
The view of the scenery is quickly disturbed, however. Not but a second later, a sword slashes by the screen, followed by a young man wielding it. He's clearly not fighting an actual opponent, but that doesn't hinder his focus - he's behaving as though he's fighting an invisible foe, instead.
Grunts and pants of exertion reach the air along with the swipes of the blade as he swings the sword around in an arc. Then he takes a dash forward toward the building, leaping to do a diagonal slash in mid-air before he tucks into an airborne somersault and lands back on his feet, one knee on the ground.
He pauses for a long moment after landing, his back to the camera. He seems to be studying his sword as he rights himself.
Then, without warning, he violently throws the weapon to the ground. ]
...What the hell use is this, anyway. I can't fight something that I can't even see. Damn this place.
