...I suppose if we have to be cursed, it could have been much worse. Last year the City was overrun by turkeys.
Lyra, thanks for trying to show me the brighter side of things.
Thanks, Doumeki, for showing me there are other ways to protect people that don't involve acting like an ass or ignoring them.
Sakura, thanks for your concern and for being friendly with me.
Rosette, thanks for knocking some sense into me now and then.
Rue, thanks for being the sister I'd been missing in my life. Even if we disagree and fight frequently, you've been there for me regardless and I appreciate that.
Ahiru... thank you for being yourself. And bringing light into my life. I wouldn't be who I am now if it wasn't for you.
...Is this curse making everyone sound so damn cheesy?
Oh, and.... I suppose it wouldn't hurt to introduce her:
This is Kalila (or 'Lila', for short).
Some of you might have seen her romping around the Opera House already. I bought her when I took Ahiru to get a pet yesterday. And I'll be sure to keep a close eye on her so she doesn't bother anyone too much. But she's pretty docile, so don't worry about being bitten or anything like that.
[ ooc: I know that list is small, considering how long he's been in the City, but it is SO HARD to get this guy to really open up and be friendly with people IC, so... ^^; Unless the other person is really stubborn about it, he doesn't make friends easily. If I started to make him outgoing, he'd be way too OOC for me to handle though. XD; I'll find some reason to get him more involved in the City. (He's started to branch out a little, thanks to Ahiru talking to tons of people, but...that's mostly only been in a very negative sense. XD;;; ). And that dog that he got is a Cavalier Spaniel. Tri-colored. ...Fakir seems to get along better with animals than people, thus I thought I should get him a pet. XD; ]
