My year in Cincinnati, coming to an end...
It seems like just yesterday I was moving out of my White Plains apartment, headed to Cincinnati. Well, the time has come and it is my final night in my Mount Adams apartment, and again, it seems appropriate that I should post about my fabulous year in Cincinnati/Northern KY. I was just reading through some old entries from this time last year, since I was going through a big move, and who would have thought that I would be making another major move so soon? Three moves in 2 years is a LOT. Hopefully this is it for awhile. To sum up 2006, here's the same survey I filled out the last 2 years, with my updated answers for this year of course... Enjoy!
As of tomorrow I will be "homeless" until next Thursday when I move into my new apartment in Chicago. The movers are coming in the morning, then tomorrow evening I will head to a friend's to stay (Olivia's if she's not sick anymore, otherwise I will be at Lauren & Randolph's). Friday is my last day of work at SGS Florence and then it's off to Snowshoe for some skiing with Jamie, Jen, Stephanie, Gillian, and company. I will then be heading up to Chicago next Tuesday, and the movers will be dropping off my stuff on the 4th. Have a great New Years everyone!
PS - Thank you to everyone who made my year in Cincinnati incredible. I will DEFINITELY be back to visit, and who knows, I may end up back here someday. I would never have had such a great time without you, please come visit anytime!

1. What did you do in 2006 that you'd never done before?
Lots of things - moved to Cincinnati, traveled to Australia & Fiji, was a bridesmaid in 2 of my friends weddings, saw another 2 friends get married, went away on vacation to Cozumel for Christmas
2. Did you keep your New Year's resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
I'll make more for next year, hopefully I will keep them better. I always have some thoughts in mind about how to be a better person.

Heather from work, Amy from work

No, thank God

Australia, Fiji, Mexico
6. What would you like to have had in 2007 that you lacked in 2006?
A condo

September 1-17 - Australia & Fiji trip

Got a promotion at work and as a result am moving to Chicago

Nothing really comes to mind right now

No, thank God

Plane ticket to Australia

All my new friends in Cincinnati

Appalled, yes. Depressed, no. Something about a "Thanksgiving incident"...

Rent & traveling

Trips to Clemson, Australia, Fiji, friends' weddings, Ginny's return home

Knowing I had more time in Cincinnati

Time flies when you're having fun. <--- still true for '06 -- Don't take places or things for granted, because you never know when you have to leave them behind.
