One more thing about this past weekend...
I almost forgot to write about the funniest part of last Saturday night... we had gone to the Barrow Street Ale House, and Janel, Maria, Caitlin, and I were sitting at a table across from the bar area, and Renee was being hit on by some random guy. A few minutes later Renee comes over to sit with us. We look over at the guy she was just talking to and he's sitting on a barstool, and appears to be looking down, reading his beer bottle. After a few seconds we realize he's not reading it, he's DEAD ASLEEP in the bar. He wakes up a few times over the next few minutes and looks around confused, like "I knew I was talking to someone, but. who. was. it...???" kinda look. Then he falls back into an alcohol-induced sleep. Eventually one of the bouncers comes over to him and tells him he needs to either wake up, or get out. He wakes up again with that confused look on his face, and is now looking straight ahead. Then it begins. He takes one hand and starts DIGGING in his nose!!! At first it looks like he's just picking one booger, but then we quickly realize he is totally GOING TO TOWN on his nostril. I mean, he's acting like no one is there, like he's in the comfort of his own home, and it's totally normal to be digging at your nose at 3 am in a bar. We are CRACKING UP, to the point our sides hurt from laughing so much, and this guy is so ridiculously drunk he has no idea what he's doing, or the fact that we're laughing and pointing at him. He stops for awhile, then goes right back in! What a sight! About 20 minutes and handfuls of boogers later he gets up, stumbles around the bar, and into another seat. Sits down, kinda falls asleep again, and then wakes up and continues right where he left off. Eventually he gets up and stumbles out of the bar. Funniest thing I've seen in a long time.
