Delurking and looking for beta

I've been lurking around this community for a few months now. I never really have that much time to post anywhere due to busy work schedule (I actually should be working right now ;) ) and the like but I always read along and read all the lovely fanfics and such.
I have been kicking around a little ficlet for way too many weeks now. Writing on and off on it. I'm now at a point where I need a beta reader.
Since English is my second language (another german woman here), I'm looking for someone with a really good handle on grammar, spelling and punctuation. I've been a fluent English speaker for at least 15 years now (I'm really getting old, aren't I? ;) ) and I reread what I write in English a half dozen times typically but there are some mistakes I just never find and I'm really bad at English punctuation - that's one of those things they never taught back at school and I haven't been able to pick up.
Also I'm looking for someone to look at characterization and canon - in this little ficlet it's really just Alistair and his internal speech, thought patterns. If it sounds right, sounds like him, that sort of thing.
I have to say, I've always loved writing but haven't done it in so long. Somehow Dragon Age got me started again and I've also begun kicking around ideas for non-fanfiction stuff. I really like that. :)
