An Apology and a Request
I apologize for using the Swoopers LJ for this and also for looking like a "me too, me too" person....
....but I've tried a couple other of places to find a decent Beta Reader and I have had no luck. Maybe because I'm asking for a bit more than just swiping it through a spell checker and say "it looks good, I like it." This community would be the only one I could trust to ask, so... here goes.
I am looking for a Beta Reader for two work-in-progress fan fics I will have going. I need for this Beta to:
- Look over the first 7 parts of my current fic for spelling, grammar, and continuity
- Look over future parts of my current and future fan fic for the same
- Be a sounding board for story concepts and ideas
- Be open minded about a slightly Alternate Universe fan fic (both fics run on the concept that both a m!Cousland and a f!Tabris are Grey Wardens through the game's story arc, traveling together, ect)
- Be someone who doesn't mind a story with a slow pace and lengthy parts/chapters (I don't write small unless it's a one shot)
- Be critical and make suggestions to change something instead of rewriting entire segments
- Be a patient sort who doesn't mind long times in between parts being posted (I got work ta do, yano)
If anyone is willing to go on a long haul with me on this, reply with how I can get in contact with you and we'll see where it goes. More than willing to have more than one Beta on board.
