Evening Swoopers,
You may or may not have noticed a certain post about a box of packing peanuts has disappeared. While I think that there is some humor in the whole situation, it is important that I make a few points.
This is not to single out the original poster, who is obviously a fan, and a member of our community.
Bioware has a wonderful relationship with their fan community, and here at Swooping_is_Bad, we've enjoyed an occasional friendly guest appearance by The Maker David Gaider. I personally appreciate the easy and casual nature and association that Bioware has with their fans.
However, it's inappropriate to use this forum, or attach it's name (or the moniker 'Swooper' as it's indicative of a community with 1,000 members) to vocalize personal discontent. This is a Bioware Fan Community, and A Dragon Age Fan Community. I do not, nor do the other mods, condone physical haze mailing of Bioware, over an expansion pack that has already been developed and slated for release.
If you created a virtual petition, you may link it here, however it shouldn't affiliate itself with our community. I suggest taking major concerns about the upcoming release to Bioware Social, where the game developers are the Moderators. There you can have an open dialogue with those who can actually influence the Dragon Age Universe.
Enthusiasm and passion are what made this place, and have kept it thriving for the last five months. This community was intended to be a fanmedia journal, with some side discussion.

Edit: I fully understand that the original post was not malicious, nor did the poster intend any real harm. From what I've been told the post was taken out of context, and meant to amuse. As a moderator (to eliminate further problems) the post has been deleted, and this is the official stance on future petitioning medium, both serious and for laughs.
