Another Fanfic and a 'WTF?!' Moment
So... I did post a link to my Alistair/Cousland one-shot 'Don't Let Go' a bit ago and now I got the first chapter of its companion story done...
Title: To Survive
Rating: M
Pairing: Alistair/FemCousland
Again, it continues my other story 'Don't Let Go,' so I'm not going to say much that gives away what happens there, except 'Don't Let Go,' followed a thought I had for where Alistair left after my character chose to make Loghain a Warden and basically her seeking Alistair out, in due time. 'To Survive' continues that story, as they live in exile, now that they're seen as traitors (as I have a hard time trying to swallow the notion that Anora could be a just ruler with how manipulative she is). Kinda sucks for a summary, I suppose, but well... summarizing certainly isn't my forte anyhow.

(And unfortunately... I haven't been able to update with the 2nd chapter of To Survive... the chapter doesn't like me)
So... as for the 'WTF?!' moment... my last playthrough I had tried to keep things nice between my female PC and Zevran, particularly because I wanted Alistair's 'either me or him' dialogue. Well, naturally I chose him. XD I still tried to stay nice to Zev as the game went on and despite telling him that I was with Alistair, he tried to invite himself into my tent. And again, I told him that I have someone else. And then... I eventually make it to the Landsmeet, make the choice for Alistair to be king and myself his queen then when I head to Redcliffe and talk with my party members before running up to speak with Riordan, Leliana starts talking about myself and Zev, which freaked me out and then she spoke of the new situation with myself and Alistair as if she pitied me (no idea if she says anything like this even if you don't pursue Zevran because I forgot to talk to her here on my first playthrough). So I went to talk to Zevran and the conversation about my becoming Alistair's queen was reflecting this 'it looks like it's over between us' tone. Maybe it's not exactly a 'WTF?!' but all I could think was 'what?! are you THAT desperate?!' after that last conversation.
I dunno... just wondering if this happened to others
