fanmix: Father Figure
Hi there. I have this fanmix thingy for my fanfic.
This rather melancholy set of music was ridiculously fun to put together, thanks jayitaintso for posting this challenge! Since the chapters of my fic are all thematic I picked a song for each one. I don't want to talk too much about why each one fits each chapter, so I just picked a relavent line from the lyrics. I hope it's all clear.

(Let's pretend this song is actually about John's son like Paul claimed, and not drugs. It's still the greatest comfort song of all time. The Beatles don't seem to be available on Grooveshark but I like this cover.)

and I won't judge it
(Yes I still like Alanis okay? :) This album isn't so whiny like her first one, and I adore the unconditional love in this song.)

chapter 9: light
“Crosses,” Jose Gonzalez

(Coincidentally, I picked this Jose Gonzalez song before I saw bellaknoti's list - he is one of my favorite artists right now... isn't he great? The Zero 7 remix of this song is also awesome but I like the unaltered version for this chapter.)
