1.What did you do in 2009 that you'd never done before?
I could name a few, but I'll stick with: Got drunk.
2. Did you keep your new years' resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
Didn't make any, and I won't make any. I never do. It's a silly tradition. I intend to do my best to get better grades next year, but I won't make a resolution to do so.
3. Did anyone close to you give birth?
Nope.
4. Did anyone close to you die?
Someone close to someone close to me did.
5. What countries did you visit?
Stayed in Iceland the whole year. Had enough the year before, looks like 2010 might bring travel as well so it evens out.
6. What would you like to have in 2010 that you lacked in 2009?
A girlfriend would be nice.
7. What dates from 2009 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?

8. What was your biggest achievement of the year?
I'm tempted to say "See: #23" again, mainly because there wasn't a lot of that. Achievements, that is. Hrm. Rather dull year, really.
9. What was your biggest failure?
Grades were rather disappointing, mostly. I need to work on those.
10. Did you suffer illness or injury?
"I want to live and I want to love..."
11. What was the best thing you bought?
I'll go with Crack the Skye, Mastodon's latest album. It is very awesome.
12. Whose behavior merited celebration?
I'm terrible with complements. You've all been awesome most of the time... and I think there is reason to echo sarahblack here: lisahlin has handled everything she's been going through admirably.
13. Whose behavior made you appalled and depressed?
A... certain person who turned out to have been lying to me for six months or so. I think you all know who I mean...
14. Where did most of your money go?
I wish I knew. Food. CDs. Random things. Beer, the last half of the year. Of course, I had no income, which sucked. I feel a bit like Jack Sparrow now. "Why's the rum gone?"
15. What did you get really, really, really excited about?

16. What song will always remind you of 2009?
Remains to be seen. Probably all the music I've been discovering and listening to all year, including Mastodon, Eluveitie, Equilibrium, Charon, Eternal Tears of Sorrow and more.
17. Compared to this time last year, are you:
a) happier or sadder? Sadder, mainly.
b) thinner or fatter? Fatter. I've gained like 5kg since the summer. Mostly because I haven't been fencing as much as I should, which is because this has been my busiest term at school yet.
c) richer or poorer? Poorer. Again, no income sucks.
18. What do you wish you'd done more of?
Fencing.
19. What do you wish you'd done less of?
...Being single? I dunno.
20. How did you spend Christmas?
Sleeping, playing World of Warcraft, meeting friends, eating.
21. What was your favorite month of 2009?
I'll go with August, I think. July was pretty good, too.
22. Did you fall in love in 2009?
I wish I had, but no.
23. How many one-night stands?
Two. I discovered they're not my thing, really.
24. What was your favourite TV programme?
House, mostly. Also How I Met Your Mother and FlashForward.
25. Do you hate anyone now that you didn't hate this time last year?
Not really. Probably the other way around, rather.
26. What was the best book you read?
Tricky, since I don't read all that much. Probably the Terry Pratchett graphic novel I got for my birthday! Thanks to... luzifer and lisahlin ... yes, I think it was they who gave it to me. :B

Mastodon, with Eternal Tears of Sorrow a close second.

Nothing particular comes to mind, sadly.

Star Trek. It is worth noting I only saw two, Avatar being the other one, and that it was a tough choice.

Went to dinner with my parents at a fancy restaurant when I turned 22. Then, #23 >.>

Stayed the same, mostly. Black is classic.

Music.

I don't do celeb crushes.
