Naruto in CN and Two Drabbles
Well, yesterday night, we were at some family friends’ house for a birthday. Anyway, as usual I was hanging out with the kids. ^^;; I asked them to change the channel to Cartoon Network, because I wanted to hear Sasuke’s and Sakura’s voices.

Well, I didn’t really like them. ^^;; Oh well. I didn’t like Shikamaru’s voice either. But I still watch it, I guess.
Oh, oh! And I have a humongous complaint. One of the scenes I like laughing at (and no, I am not a yaoi supporter) was when Naruto got pushed into Sasuke’s lips. It wasn’t shown! It wasn’t! Sacrilege!!!

That aside, I have two drabbles to link tonight. One is an original, written for an almost 2 year-old unfinished story, entitled “On My Way To Heaven.” Well, I’m going to change the title because it’s too cheesy. ^^;; Um, I’ve had a sketchy plot for this, but I haven’t really paid much attention to it. I only have about four very short chapters. I got reminded of the story when I saw the trailers for Reese Witherspoon’s movie, this love story with a ghost in it.
Anyway, I’ve a little bit clearer view of how I want to shape the personalities of the two main characters, so I tried them out in this drabble. The male character, however, is a bit too wistful in this drabble. Hmm... Also, the names have to be changed. ^^;; Castor Sy used to be Carlito Sy, but I thought that sounded too gangster. Hong Kong Triad gangster. >__> I will probably change the girl’s name again.
Whenever. ^^;;
Oh yeah, and the setting became a little bit of a hybrid between early morning Orlando and good old Baguio city. Weird.

Being that there had been a party last night, I didn’t get to write any drabbles for the Sept 17 theme, which I had planned to write about Light from Death Note (surprise, surprise. Theme: Scenes from the life of a double monster. ^^;; ). Anyway, when we arrived home it was past one in the morning already. See, yesterday I was working on Sunergos.
Today, I tried to work on a Sept 11 drabble, focused on Hinata. I was deterred by... dun, dun, dun! Names. I hate thinking up names. =__= Gimme 3 random names, anybody, and I’ll use it for the names of Sasuke’s kid, Neji’s kid, and Shikamaru’s kid. Yes, *gasp* I’m writing second-generation fanfiction. Que horror! *cowers under the bed*
Anyway, I gave up on that and worked on the drabble for Sept 18, today’s, instead. I certainly went out of my comfort zone. I’m icky about writing for Full Metal Alchemist. First, I’m not up-to-date with both manga and anime, second, I haven’t really read any FMA fanfiction, and third, I worship the series too much to mar it. ^^;;
Meh, but this drabble’s nothing specific. And it’s not angsty, either, as one might expect from me. Ehehehe...
