Tsk-tsk Tidings

Feb 23, 2006 20:50

Despite my best efforts to resist, I napped this afternoon for 2-3 hours. I didn't want to screw my sleeping schedule, see. I already got late for an hour Wednesday because my cellphone alarm didn't go off and I don't want it to happen again. Basically, I suddenly opened my eyes to gray skies, panicked, and woke up my mom.

"Mother, should I call the floor?"

Yep, that's what I said. -__-;; I didn't really need to wake her up.

Needless to say, Wednesday was very stressful (and embarassing) even though the charge nurse was mucho help. ♥

----

It's raining. I like rain. Especially evening rain.

Except when I'm driving, that is.

----

Gulong ng Palad. Apparently, Luisa's march to Mount Calvary begins now. Eek. I think she's making a big mistake marrying that spoiled sop Karding.

Then again, that's the whole point of soap operas. XD

(Speaking of soap operas, I was in the break room Wednesday and they were watching Young and the Restless. There was this character who was in love with his stepsister. Wala lang. I only mentioned it because I remembered Kazuma and Tsubasa of Kare Kano, whom I both love to pieces.)

----

After Gulong ng Palad was the news. Bleh. It's just sad about the Leyte landslide. It's raining and dangerous. If there had been any tiny chance that there were still survivors, it's totally gone now. Prayers to the victims and their families.

O_o on the collapse of that construction site in Adriatico St, Manila. Good thing nobody got hurt.

My sister is watching (and losing patience), waiting for a glimpse of HHH and other WWE superstars. LOL

PGMA. That woman is running on sheer bravado. The POS has nothing to be arrogant about so she should watch where her trap's running. I hope she's not deluded enough to ever think that she was ever truly desired by the people to be where she is. The Philippine Presidential seat is a rat hole. She's just a convinient stuffing.

EDSA my ass. Excuse my french, but people won't allow themselves to be duped again into another 'people power' stint. Whether or not that's a sad thing, I don't know.

----

I hate listening/watching/reading news. I'm going back to my room where I won't hear.

job, karekano, pinas, soap operas, politics
