Busy Busy Busy
Thats a good word to describe how things are for me right now. There is just too much going on that I am finding it a bit hard to make time for this journal. I almost am considering giving up journaling, but dont worry. I'm not, at least not yet anyway.
As for the recent news... We are living off of one paycheck (mine) and a disability check (hers, pays less than 40% of her recent salary - not much but at least its something). The insurance company that is paying us the disability check is being really tight with the money. Her doctor spent a few hours over several days to get it extended another month, the insurance company only added 8 days, not 30. Good grief... As for the medical coverage, she still doesnt have any. We have an appointment this coming Tuesday with welfare. Since we are going in with a lot less money than a couple weeks ago, she should qualify this time around, plus food stamps.
John has been doing really well, several people has commented on how well he looks. Mainly because he has been eating so much better. In fact the other day he ate a whole hamburger (no bread) cause dad (aka me) was eating a hamburger. He surprised mom cause she never seen him eat a whole hamburger patty before. Plus that reward sticker board we started, he has done really good with that. So far he has completed two weeks and is on his third week. He picked one of those spiderman swim rings as his first prize and we kinda encouraged him to pick Spiderman 3 movie as his second prize. Good movie by the way, a huge emotional rollercoaster too.
Well guess thats it for tonight. Gotta get Johnny inside to get ready for bed. Oh and I guess I need sleep to since I gotta get up at 3 to go to work... joy... :)
