brief update and downtime
Just realized that my last entry was not posted properly simply because I negleted to include the ">" at the end of the lj-cut tag, so everything that was supposed to be under the cut was a part of the tag. So go back and read the drama before reading this one... Besides you all missed alot of my drama...
Ok now that I got that fixed... Anyway Judy's mom is doing a lot better. We had planned on visiting her yesterday morning but when she called the hospital we found out that they are getting ready to transfer her back to the nursing home. Wasnt quite sure when so we just figured we would go today instead. Its great news that she has recovered to the point where they feel comfortable at letting her return to the nursing home. Actually its the "next" step which is rehab, but for her the rehab place also happens to be her home so... plus its nearby.
As for my car it turned out to be a faulty battery. With the car off the battery had power, with the key in the "on" position the battery had no power. Weird... something about the terminal conection shorting itself out or something, at any rate it was an internal thing and nothing I could have done to keep it from dying out on me. Bummer...
Finally I will be offline for a few days. I am disconnecting my computer and handing it over to a friend who has Judy's computer. He will be renevating both computers creating one primary computer (taking the best of both computers) and one basic-internet computer (the leftovers) and adding a few extra things like more memory for both computers. So soon Judy will be able to surf online at home (need internet connection but we got one lined up) which means she will be able to post stuff in our wedding journal and do other related web searches.
Speaking of which, I found a couple lj communities that I may end up joining, one is wedding 2007 and the other is march wedding 2007. Forgot the exact group name, but I'll find it later once the computer is back up and running.
