Today after Micah, Jess and I had a lovely picnic at Porter, Jess and I went to a random beach off the 1. It was very refreshing to be at a beach on Sunday and not have it jam packed with people. There were only a handful of others there, mostly naked old gay men. Yes, you heard right, we accidently stumbled upon a nude beach. Jess was the only one there with a vagina, I was one of a few men who still had clothing on. Most of the nudies stayed hidden next to a little cliff, while a few braved it all the way to the water, where the proceeded to do some weird yoga-ish dancing/stretching thing. Anyway. Got sunburned, but that is OK by me. Any color besides white is good in my book.
Yesterday I went to Davis with John and Claudie to go to the Whole Earth Festival. It's this big hippie music and arts festival. Apparently I have an allergic reaction to Davis, because I couldn't stop sneezing and my eyes were watering. I ended spending more time hanging out with Robert, Tina and their friends off campus than actually going to the festival, which was totally fine. Got drunk and had a pretty good time. Unfortunantly being drunk and taking a 2 and half hour drive back to Santa Cruz is NOT FUN. Especially when John blasts weird music. Sort of wanted to die. But all is well now.
