Hey! What's this? What is this thing? Oh! I almost forgot, it's Live Journal! Ha ha, I remember using this in 2002.
But hey! I don't have to worry about my profile displaying information that is default opt-in at the mercy of hundreds of 'friends'... and I don't have to worry about my information, including personal pictures, aggregated and sold handily to slimy third parties... and I don't have to read everyone's fucking stupid meaningless shit or find out that someone I don't give two hoots about is "CURRENTLY AT HOME!".

Let's be serious. Facebook has had this coming. Since 2007 it's changed into something that I now find repulsive to use. I look over the feeds and I physically feel sick because of what I see; so much information that I don't care about, that no one should really care about, and that you CAN'T GET AWAY FROM.
And yeah, that new groups thing... I dealt with the inundation of clutter and useless information, and even the privacy debacles. But they've never done something so heinous as to take the control of information that represents you right out from under your feet. Fuck that. I'm not dealing with it. I don't have time to deal with it.
