Summary : Chinen is a very lovely, kind and cute young boy. He's just an ordinary student of Horikoshi Gakuen. On the other side, Yamada is also handsome and cute but this guy is different from Chinen, he's very famous in their school. What if one summer day, they meet each other in riparian? What will happen to both of them?
Summer? Well…there’s nothing special on it. We only can feel the cool breeze blow our hair and feel comfortable to take a shelter under a shady tree, being so lazy for time to time. And a thing that can make summer season become so special is……summer wind chime. On the top of all, it’s the good beginning for the love in the first sight. Summer wind chime, it’s not only to cool the atmosphere, but also can be a symbol of love in summer season and wish you luck. How can it be?
That’s break time in horikoshi gakuen, time for each student to take their bento. He goes out from class and being alone under a shady tree in school yard. He’s alone and enjoys his time. He eats his bento while reading a book, till suddenly he feel there’s nothing left in his bento box. He looks on it, but there’s really nothing left. Someone already stole his bento. As he looks to his side, he found someone smile broadly to him.
“Yo,” the older boy greets him with an eggroll in his mouth.
“How could you…”
“Oishi ne?!” he smiled.
"How dare you stole my tamagoyaki….” He smirks as he looks at Chinen. “Why are you always so selfish like this, Yamada-san?”
“Ryo-chan.”
“Whatever.” Chinen said. He looks a little bit mad at that time. He gets up from his seat and clearing his bento box. He closes his book and takes it with him. Keep away of Yamada is better for him because he doesn’t want getting any problem with any girls. Chinen try to walk so fast, but Yamada still can grab his wrist. “What’s now?” he still looks mad and staring Yamada sharply.
“Why’d you always ignore me?”
“I’m not.”
“Yes you are. You always keep so much space between us. Can’t we be friend?”
Chinen keep silent for awhile. “I gotta back to class. Gomen.”
“Don’t you remember me?” that words stop that little boy, but still….he doesn’t turn to look at Yamada at all.
“Don’t be silly.” he smirks as turn to look at Yamada. “Why should I remember about you? You’re nothing than my classmate. And I don’t think we ever met before.”
“But….”
“And I don’t want to take any part in your life. I already have so many problems in my life and it’s enough for me without you. Just stay away from me. It’s better for both of us. Don’t bother me at all.” Then Chinen go away, leave the stoned Yamada under the shady tree. Nothing he can do as he knows Chinen like that. What Chinen said is like an order for him. There’s like the world is stop, even his heart is stop to beating as he heard that words.
“Ne Kamisama….” Yamada whisper as he loses his balance. He only can lean on that tree. He turns his face to looks at the sky. What can he do right now only imagine that little boys face. He closes his eyes and can see it clearly, how that little boy curved a smile on his face when he saw Yamada in the first time they met. “I really want to see that smile again. I want to be special for him.” He keeps whispering among the breeze. His fingers slowly comb his hair, but his face only can show the sadness inside him.
“Klinting klinting”
“Klinting klinting”
Slowly, Yamada heard something. He listens to that sound carefully. “Doesn’t it a sound of wind chime?” he talked to himself. Get up from his place, patting his pants from grass, and go to that nouse source as fast as he can. He tries to find the source, but he can’t. He’s looking here and there, but still….he can’t find it, till suddenly he bumps someone. “Ah, gomen.” he bowed deeply in a moment. He really curious with that sound and his step lead him to that sound. He widens his eyes as he sees what is in front of him.
“Chii…” he whispered. But….seems like Chinen didn’t recognize him. Yamada try to come closer in silent, but…again, he remember what Chinen said before. That’s why he only lean his back to the wall and keep his eyes to watch that little boy. He can see that beauty face clearly. Slowly he heard a humming come from Chinen. That sounds good. Slowly Yamada turn down his head as still listen to the humble. It’s really nice sound and harmonious with the sound of wind chime, but….the tears come out from Yamada. He even doesn’t know what happened to him. He never cries or feels sad just because of a humming. He wiped hard his tears away.
Suddenly, the humming stop. “What are you doing here?” It’s Chinen voice.
“I….” he turn his head to face Chinen directly and doesn’t want to look so weak. He’s a guy after all and a guy shouldn’t cry, right. He always thinks like that.
“What are you doing here?” Chinen asked him again for the second time. “And why are you crying?”
“I’m not. It’s only dust and….and I come here because I heard the wind chime sound. I really like it.”
“Huh?”
“Yeah. It makes me remember about someone, the one that I met a long time ago.” a sad smile curved on his face now. Yamada really wish that he can meet the real Chinen, the little boy who can show a warm smile.
“Why do you tell me that?” The new Chinen is the cold one right now. He even didn’t care about Yamada in single way. Nothing left in his mind about Yamada.
“I’m sorry.”
“Class will begin.”
“Huh?”
“Yup, the class will begin soon. And…as you know, you already make the class being so crowded. It’s so noisy over here and don’t you realize something weird around here?” Chinen said while sharply looking on Yamada. “I better back to class.”
“What do you mean?” He grab Chinen wrist again, try to stop that boy to go away from him.
“Just look around Yamada-san. You’ll know what I mean.” Yamada still doesn’t know what really happened at that time. He looks around, but he can’t find anything at first till his eyes catch a spot. There’s a girl behind the pillar in that room. Not only a girl. He tries to look around once again and find one, two, three and so many girls in the room.
“Why…..” before Yamada found time to speak, Chinen has gone. “Too much girls, huh? You might be jealous, huh?” It’s like he try to cheer up his lonely heart. Then Yamada go away from that room. His mind always keeps staying in Chinen. He can’t let it out of his mind at all. He walks calmly in the corridor to class. Each time he walks on the corridor or when he came to school, so many girls will scream badly and chasing him like madness girls. They will gather him all the time till the classes begin. It always makes other guys in school become jealous. Since the first time he came to school, Yamada already took so many attention from girls, even from single lady teacher. He always gets the second place after Chinen on every test, too.
Different with Yamada, Chinen is only an ordinary boy who loved to sits next to the window and enjoys his time to read book. It’s so hard to be friend with him. He always loved to stay alone. He only stares on Yamada when that boy was in girls crowded.
The time they eyes meet each other, Yamada realize something wrong between them. Indeed, he didn’t come closer to Chinen, but…he felt something different. He wants to be closer to that little cute guy. Although he wants it, he know he can’t do that. Chinen doesn’t have any interested or care about him.

Each time he walks on the corridor or when he came to school, so many girls will scream badly and chasing him like madness girls. They will gather him all the time till the classes begin. It always makes other guys in school become jealous. Since the first time he came to school, Yamada already took so many attention from girls, even from single lady teacher. He always gets the second place after Chinen on every test, too.
Different with Yamada, Chinen is only an ordinary boy who loved to sits next to the window and enjoys his time to read book. It’s so hard to be friend with him. He always loved to stay alone. He only stares on Yamada when that boy was in girls crowded.
The time they eyes meet each other, Yamada realize something wrong between them. Indeed, he didn’t come closer to Chinen, but…he felt something different. He wants to be closer to that little cute guy. Although he wants it, he know he can’t do that. Chinen doesn’t have any interested or care about him.
“How I got you to remember me?” whispered Yamada in his little heart. “Chii….” His eyes can’t get off of Chinen all the time.
