In an attempt to remain loyal....
....to the facebook name, I am once again updating. My away message today on AIM was, "So....I'm going to New York?..." I was gone most of the day and managed to return to my computer with a surplus of IM reagrding this message. Let me take this time to clarify this statement. I am NOT moving to NY, I am NOT attending grad school in NY, I am not doing ANYTHING in NY.....yet. Notice the question mark at the end of my statement. Evita has an appointment at NYU and Julliard during Mid-Semester Break. The idea of traveling to a new place can be frightening and the reactions of parents can be somewhat negative, as a result she is needing a companion. That is where I come in. At the moment we are trying to work out the schedule. We would be leaving Wednesday October 18, which happens to be the day that I have a test in World Civilization. As a result, I am needing to talk to my professor about the possibility of taking the test early. If he refuses then I will remain in SA. In addition, we are trying to use our connections to find a place that will let us stay for free (We managed to do it is Switzerland, Rome, and Paris....we should be able to do it in our own country) If we cannot find free lodging then I will not be going. I don't have loads of money to spend of this trip! There are numerous factors that can prevent me from going. I will just have to wait and see. Hopefully, I will have some sort of an answer by the end of the weekend. So, that is about it in regards to my Away Message......it is nothing too grand, just 4 days in New York with no money to spend :(
In other news, P Chem is officially kicking my ass this week. On Monday I will need to turn in a Lab write-up, Problem Set #5, and take an exam. Needless to say, it will be a busy weekend. In other disappointing news, I forgot to record Grey's tonight while I was at work.....I guess I will record it tomorrow night. Anyway, I don't know why I am wasting time on here, I should really get back to P Chem. Have a good Evening!!
