(no subject)
mailed last summer app. there may be another summer opening in houston. do i really want to stay in houston? i may have found a sublet if i do. I'm talking to my advisor on fri.
My fingers hurt b/c i played a lot of guitar. I jammed acoustically w/ the guy that lives below me. Eric. We had fun. I taught him how to play the blues. I feel slightly guilty b.c I decided to start this @ 2 am. I have to give an orgo poster presentation tomorrow.
I was super efficient and finished all this week's HW. I just have to deliver said presentation w/o much sleep. I practiced on my roommate and it may be kind of choppy.
I installed reason on my laptop and proceeded to make a vocoder song with the lyrics "I want vegetables / vegetables are what I want" My roommate and I found this hilarious. I <3 my E-MU midi keyboard. I lost a lot of sleep last night to fantasy shopping.
I haven't showered in 3 days and i still don't want to go to sleep. I want to do HW or study or practice or shower. In the afternoon, all i could think of was napping, but now I reject sleep.
I am reconsidering my recordist project b/c I found more reasonably priced mics: Rode NT5's, 400 for the pair. I'd still need to get an preamp equipped interface...
