the stuff blogs are made of
i went with my family to disneyland today, but it was FULL. FULL?!?! can I have any bigger CAPS LOCK please??. so we came back. and now i'm not at the dresden dolls show because its SOLD OUT. i won't get to show off my new "punk-cabaret" aesthtics i bought on melrose yesterday (where's my studded leather mime costume?). boohoo. i'm just not on the list for fun today.
in other news, i've got 8 CDs of metal coming at me from amazon tomorrow hhehehehehecoughhe. I think i'm all hxc and not phased by the hxcness of my music, but I put in the coalesce CD into my clockradioalarm last night and turned it up all the way and set it for the morning -- and when I woke up I thought I was in a fucking nuclear war and freaked out and threw all of my covers and pillows and everything off of my bed and risked personal injury leaping across the room to stop it. and when my heart rate returned to normal i felt very silly.
(that reminds of the time that I was napping and my alarm when off unexpectedly and I pulled and fully broke the alarm off of its own cord, leaving frayed electrical wires sticking out of the wall. I left it that way for some time (likeseriously a month) until my mom had the good sense to ask me "why are there exposed wires plugged into the wall?" because it's metal, mom. god.)
