MOD POST!!
Hi everyone! I hope all that celebrate had a Happy Halloween.
This is where everything stands exchange-wise.
There are twenty participants as your mod needed to join for various compatibility reasons. (ie, I made a mistake in my assigning and needed to fix it in the least disruptive way)
I received twelve assignments.
I have four drops.
I have two pre-arranged extensions(re: the aforementioned issue).
I have two "I just need one more day for beta-reading" extensions.
I am taking a hard line with extensions this year because:
1. Midterms are foreseeable.
2. I gave everyone a blanket 10 day extension.
3. Posting starts in two weeks and goes for ten days.
4. Past experience has taught me that unending extensions cause more work for me.
5. I, unfortunately, am very sick and have little time to spend on hounding people.
My only other option was to cancel this exchange and I didn't want to do that to everyone who worked really hard and made such lovely submissions.
Some of you will receive emails from me about reassigning submissions. This way, I won't have to worry about pinch hitting beyond the one person already working on one.
If you feel I dropped you in error, please let me know.
