(no subject)
I just restored from saved draft and the only thing that came up was:
OMG IS THERE A MIDDLEMAN/ ATOMIC ROBO CROSSOVER?
I don't even remember writing that, but. Uh. Is there? Because it would be pretty damn awesome.
Also: HEY! SUPERNATURAL IS BACK! I guess it's time for me to actually update this journal again.

* I was . . . okay with it? This whole 'no expectations for the season' is working wonders for me, let me tell you. I managed to spend hiatus NOT daydreaming about what I would totally want in this episode or what should happen, and was pleasantly surprised a couple of times.
* That being said: wow, um, maybe you guys should figure out what happened to the special effects budget before planning to do something on dragons. Because, wow. That was worse than the BBC, people.
* But: SAAAAAAMMMMM! I liked Robo!Sam, but I also like the bitchface and the other facial expressions real!Sam has. And there was hugging! (though no hugging for waves of celestial intent? :( Cas missed you too, Sam!).
*Happy Dean, for once! I don't know if he was actually happy or just faking it for Sam's benefit to prove that everything was fine (and also, you know, happy to get his brother back), but it was nice to see him smiling and making stupid jokes again.
*My boyfriend, halfway through the episode: So, these guys can fight Satan and other monsters and pretty much everything else, but they can't talk to each other?
Me: No. They can't.
* Not happy with the OMG A 22 YEAR OLD VIRGIN! jokes. Not everyone loses their virginity at 16, show. It doesn't make them a freak if they don't.
*That being said: I wasn't the only one hoping that the women would figure out a way to get over the virginity thing while trapped in the sewer, was I? Also: hoping for male virgins.
*Cas cares about Sam! And was concerned for him! And actually tells him the truth because he's a good friend! My personal fanon has Cas giving Sam a hug after filling Sam in on the horrible things he's done to comfort him. It's awkward, but adorbs anyway. In my head.
*The fact that Dean referenced a d12 in particular makes me believe that Dean used to play a barbarian in D&D way back when, before realizing the rogues were totally cooler and were more likely to get lucky with the wenches. Because really, how many non-geeks know about 12-sided dies? They're even overlooked in the tabletop RPG community! This also explains the comicon reference.
*Okay, the sword in the stone bit was really cute.
