Comic Con - how I love thee!
I'm on a mission to make it to Comic Con one of these summers and by God, I WILL be at whatever panel Joss is on. Mission number 2 is to meet my idol and as weird as it may be, I want to meet him more than any other celebrity. Mariska Hargitay is a close number two, but Joss... well, he's Joss! To have lunch with him would be something I can only dream of. When he auctioned off seats at his dinner table for Equality Now, my hopes quickly crashed and burned when each seat sold for $11,000. Holy shit. That's more than one year of tuition. So I basically need to win a meeting with Joss. Or become his best friend. Either way.
While Joss is someone who's present every year, there's always something else I'm dying to see. Last year it was the X-Files panel... this year it was the Dr. Horrible Panel (NPH and Nathan and Joss!), Dollhouse panel (Joss, Eliza, Tahmoh), and the HUGE Twilight panel. What I wouldn't have given to be there this year. So - here's "the plan" ("that's the plan, rule the world, you and me, any day" - sorry Dr Horrible moment...): If the Twilight cast is present (b/c I would hope "New Moon" would be on the horizon as movie number 2) and barring any serious financial issues, earendil-elven and I are hoping to attend Comic Con 2009. Hell, if Joss is there, I'm still going to try to get my happy ass there by next summer.
So. Long story short... sort of.... I present a lovely EW interview with the Dollhouse folk and the extended ballet scene from the Twilight movie, which was shown at Hall H. Videos of the Con are EVERYWHERE - you don't even have to look hard. There's a bunch of great Twilight interviews and Con videos as well as a great Dr. Horrible video of Nathan talking about HIS hammer lol

Seriously - I'm so in love with Joss. I could talk about that picture for days... but my analytical brain has combusted from all the X-Files comments I've made in regards to that issue in my last post. *sigh*
