So... I'm re-reading "twilight" and writing down nice little quotes (mostly one-liners) that I like. Don't ask me why - I'm on summer vacation before a graduate program... I'm looking to do the most MINDLESS things before that haha So anyway... I'm on page five and I'm once again blown away by this series. Now that I know Stephenie Meyer's way of writing is because it's "Young Teen", I appreciate it a little more. That being said, there are such IMPORTANT lines used even before Bella meets Edward that, perhaps, foreshadows things in "Breaking Dawn" if you take them out of context. I'm sure people have realized this, but I'm a newbie so leave me be haha
"I'd never given much thought to how I would die..." (1). The very first line of the book - you can read it a million ways and I LOVE it.
"... I could see the sacrifice in her eyes behind the promise..." (4). This is Bella looking at her mother, but really? Sacrifice? Promise? Does this scream E/Bness to you? That's what I thought.
"I'd already said my good-byes to the sun" (5). I won't even bother you with an explanation. Looooooove it.
Less than a month until "Breaking Dawn"!!! :)
And I just looked at my school calendar and the last day of my exams is 12.12. Being in Grad School, "exams" will be final papers, but I don't know when those will be due, etc. So right now it looks like I might be seeing "Twilight" by my lonesome. Not terrible, but I really wanna see it with my "Twilight" soul mate - we spend SOOOOO much time talking about this f'ing book, it's only right that we see the movie together! I'm hoping to be able to go home for it so we can see it together. We'll see. Keepin' my fingers crossed!
school,
twilight,
breaking dawn
