Soooo...It's the day after Thanksgiving, aka Black Friday. Anyone know why, exactly its called this? It reminds me of the plague or something. So I hope everyone had a good Turkey day. Mine was alright. I woke up about 7:30 (which, with going to bed before 10:30 isn't all the early). Then I was going to take a shower, but that ended up not happening somehow. That, of course, means that I will definitely be showering today, asap. Yesterday I got sent to the store several times and the first time Jacob, Dad, and I went and Jacob drove my car. I'm pretty sure I have lasting heart trouble from this drive. He only almost wrecked my car twice...so I guess that's good. Then the second time I was sent by myself.
Also, there are definitely a butt-ton of people here: My dad's parents, Debora's mom and brother, Jacob, Lucy, Dad, Debora, and me. Because there are so many people here also means that no one under the age of 35 gets a bed, unless you are Lucy and you are sleeping w/ parents/grandparents (she's 8). Luckily we have airmatresses...if you can call that lucky (maybe "Lucky is coming my way?"). Mine has definitely started deflating because my back is killing me currently. Another point: I don't think college students should be made to give up their beds over the shorter breaks like Thanksgiving/Fall Break/Spring Break etc. Point #1: We sleep the longest, so we should have a private space so that we don't interfere with anyone's desire to watch tv or anything. Point #2 (which probably should have been the first point): We don't get to sleep in our beds very often anyway, seeing as we're at school for over half of the year. Anyway, I don't really begrudge my grandparents taking all the upstairs beds, but I do hope that over Christmas break I will get to sleep in my bed at least a little bit.
I guess I'm done. I hope everyone wakes up from their food comas and makes a comment : )
