Fire Alarms are of the Devil
Actually I don't think all fire alarms are of the devil, they are quite useful sometimes in saving lives. The one that made itself known at approximately 2:22 am this morning was not one of the useful ones. I think all Riverside alarms are of the devil, useful or not, due to the horrendous noise and volume they make. It makes me want to cut my ears off. So whoever pulled it better be on the look out or I might cut them (slightly jk). So after being rudely awakened from my slumber, made to stand outside in the cold night air for like 20ish minutes, we finally get to go in and now I can't go back to sleep. Urghh! I'm blaming it on the cold stirring up my cough that seems to hang around for most of the year, but whatever the cause, I definitely couldn't go back to sleep until at least 3:30. So guess who's taking a nap today...if you answered "me/you" you would be correct.
I should probably do some czech. I noticed today that the school I tutor at Monday mornings smells like a freezer that has had food in it for a long time. Yuck. Also, I don't think any of the kids in my class have significant erasers on their pencils, so I got to hear that awful noise of metal scraping paper.
I'm actually in a decent mood despite the contents of this post. I promise.
