Well, its almost been 3 months in Switzerland. Slowly the language and culture are starting to be accepted as the norm, although I do live with a German family and speak high german, instead of Swiss German (for me trying to understand Swiss German is like trying to understand someone from an Irish village that speak broken English). So, life is interesting - my new job although much less of a brain drain - also can still be quite draining both physically and mentally. At the end of the day I am tired but then I can pass the responsibilities back to the parents - and my energies return.
I have had a chance to see quite a bit of Switzerland already, sport crags on limestone, bouldering on fine granite on the Italian border followed my authentic Italian coffee (and I am no coffee drinker but I tried it and it tasted mighty fine..........and the highlight so far has been Mt. Pilutus which was a weekend trip that turned out to be quite an adventure (its the tourist mountain above Luzern but who cares - it was still impressive). This is the story I will tell.....................
So my Aussie friend who is currently residing in Sweden for study came down to visit me - ...........I will finish story later must write love letter to Laura
