i <3 Pern
ok so probably most of you are no where near as insane as i am especially when it comes to this but i am going to go on about it anyways.
so my all time favorite auther Anne McCaffrey who i basicly worship finally put out another Dragon Riders of Pern Book. keep in mind she is really really old i think she is 80 this year so she doesnt write as much as she used to so new books are not published very often. i actually found out because of wikipedia of all places. but yeah she put out a new book!!!
*jumps up and down clapping hands in excitment*
and of course i instantly went to amazon.com and ordered it because i am that crazy. i was even tempted to do 1 or 2 day shipping but i restrained myself. her work is absolutly AMAZING! i dont know if you guys really understand how amazing she is. just go to her website and look at her bibliography of all the books she wrote. of those i have read at least 60%(there are ALOT it takes some time) and her biggest series is the Pern Series which i have read all but the new one and own probably 80% of. yes i am obsessed but hey reading is a good obsession.
so yeah you should all read her work because well it rocks and is just truly amazing. it is going to be a very sad day when she dies and i hope to meet her before that day(even though she lives in ireland and doesnt travel much but hey she comes to the states here and there).
so yeah GO READ HER BOOKS!
