i wonder what the muslim sentiment on the ground really is - they keep citing religion as one of the reasons.. the christian have been very vocal but not much news from the other religion

yeah, cos among muslims if you're gay you get stoned to death. It's a bit more black-and-white where that's concerned. To them this is clearly not right.
