After fiddling with the MacBook Pro mid last year and the MacBook late last year, I couldn't be happier with the MacBook. Unlike the aluminium-encased-mobile-heater-cousins that are too hot to type sometimes, or perpetually warm even during winter, I could never live with the annoying fan that comes on almost all the time. Aside from dodgy keys, I hope a better version comes up this new year. Yea, sure, I am looking forward to new product offerings from iconic Apple.
I hope Apple includes some low-end X300 graphics card onboard or something for its MacBook and Mac Mini product lines. Otherwise the iMac remains a viable choice for estate whores like you-know-who; Needless to say, da iMac's graphics processing unit is faster if at worst on par with the macbook pros and a removable processor you can surely upgrade after a year if the socket architectures do not change.
May the Vista changes (whether in licensing, policies and bundle agreement) continue to frustrate enterprises this new year. May the Aero finishes disappoint users continually inspite of its steep graphics processing requirements. May the incompatibilities continue to prevail over the year. Ho Ho Ho.
May the year be a Merry Mac Year.
