love is just a bloodsport

When I was on Chapter 1, I've read somewhere that Odette's voice is much better in Japanese so I flipped the voices. It was okay; it's just that her English voice makes her sound haughty which I think turns off a people. So now I'm listening to Japanese voices. They're soft. As in, their English counterpart has this 'umph' in them.

Mm yes, I forgot in order to make me work on battles faster, I've taken out the timer indicator. It's somewhat distracting because every time I look at it I think, 'Oh shit, I have to hurry up and kill those enemies!' and make annoying mistakes that wastes a lot of my time.

But enough about the voices and timers!

Eh so I got over it. Wagner, I mean. Wagner still needs a chill pill and Oswald.. WTF why did he demean the dragons by calling them lizards? Ooh, how cold, so cold of him.

"I will end you, Wagner. Your death will give me a faint light of hope..."

That does it, he's really become obsessed with Gwendolyn.

Wagner was easier to deal with than that blasted 5 star path. Just the usual stuff of gulping down U, jumping on his head and activating Shadow Knight form to launch your attacks.

Wagner keels over and drops.. a ring? Oh snap, it's Titrel. Odin accompanied by a few Valkyries demands Oswald to hand over the ring to him. Oswald points out that just Odin ordered him to slaughter Wagner, not give him the ring too. So, Oswald tells him that he'll give Odin the ring over his dead body. LOL My words, not his. He said that if Odin wants to fight for the ring, Oswald cannot guarantee his survival and he prepares to change into his Shadow Knight form.

Unable to do anything, Odin hands over Oswald's rewards. Huh, why the hell did Odin call Gwendolyn, 'the other thing'? Is she really just an object to him? 0_o Odin tells Oswald of the spell he cast upon Gwendolyn. Like Sleeping Beauty, except it doesn't need true love's kiss to wake her up. Anyone who wakes her up will be given her undying love. Oswald seems disgusted and horrified by the way Odin treated Gwendolyn as an object. I'm horrified too, what if King Onyx took her!? But that will never happen, right?

Back at the Old Castle in the forest, Oswald sees the sleeping form of Gwendolyn and realizes that the bird he saw in the Netherworld was Gwendolyn. D'aaw.

Chapter 6:

Oh yeaah. Now that I've been replaying Oswald's chapter and had completed the Alchemy recipes, I regret having made so many H potions. I have two and half large bags full of 'em. The Elixir mix is the superior recipe and eliminates the need for too many healing potions. The G potion seems.. useless because of the need for the rare drop Troll Molar. ): I heard it gives you a few Titania coins.

Hmm so we're at the Old Castle in the Forest that Odin gave us. Myris went there because she was worried that Oswald might do something. LOL There's another Pooka as well, it was that merchant from Horn Mountains that wanted to check up on Myris.. It turns out that you have to kiss Gwendolyn in order to break Odin's spell as Myris accidentally told Oswald. But Oswald doesn't want Gwendolyn to love him because of a spell and said in his mind as he remembers his past, "People aren't objects." He wants to break the spell safely.

>_>; You think at this point everything would've settled down, no? Since this is the world of Odin Sphere, everyone's always plotting something and so here comes Skuldi [wtf] blasting a spell on our hero's face and takes Gwendolyn with him, ordering Oswald to tell Odin that the three wise men of Titania has his daughter. He teleports presumably to Titania and Oswald loses consciousness.

You wake up at the streets of Titania and went down to the.. sewers?

Skuldi identifies you as the Belderiver wielder that he saw at Odin's castle and the one whom Beldor talked about. LOL Oswald quickly threatens to kill Skuldi if he doesn't tell him where Gwendolyn is after he says a few lines. Skuldi turns away from Oswald and says something about how Odin took the secrets of crafting Psyphers, opened the path to the Netherworld and still plotted to against the three wise men. He then goes on about how Odin outwitted them before asking Oswald about his weapon. LOLOL

To that Oswald says, "Stop stalling! Answer me!" >_> Yeah I wish he would stop stalling. I was itching to fight him and yet there he is going on and on about their works in fulfilling the Prophecy. A pissed off Oswald attacks him but he misses because of Skuldi's timely teleportation. Skuldi then summons.. Oswald's family? What the hell. Those are Revenants!!

I say, WTF. You have to defeat the three Revenants, the monsters they make, Beldor plus Beldor's monsters summons too [those slimes, those floating eye things, those ice monsters that freeze you, those fire spirits that burn you]!? It was kriffin hell, man although with careful observation and manipulation of Beldor's AI, you can avoid having him summon the Revenants to make your life easier.

Upon Skuldi's defeat and with Oswald's Belderiver pointed at him, Skuldi tells Oswald that Gwendolyn's in the Fire Kingdom with King Onyx. Skuldi's rather heartless; in order to fulfill that prophecy he intends to use Gwendolyn to start a war between the Fire Kingdom and Ragnanival.

Oswald strikes down Skuldi with his Belderiver before he has a chance to teleport away to safety.

incomplete Epilogue:

Oh snap. We're going to the Fire Kingdom!? I suddenly remember one of Mercede's later chapters where she went to the Fire Kingdom too and met King Valentine who told her that Oswald injured King Onyx and his subordinates. That means I'm finally fighting Onyx!?
