a really good guy
one of the kiddos i see has CP, and she's the cutest thing with her little glasses and butterfly stickers all over her wheelchair. anyway, in our session today, we were trying to ask her about halloween. we'll call her "S" for anonymity's sake. here is our conversation:
me: do you know what is happening next week?
s: (with a huge smile) i get to see santa claus
me: hmm...i think santa will come a little later on. there's something else that has to happen first.
s: (still with her adorable grin) i get to go visit santa
me: well not yet. first we all get to dress up
s: i'm gonna tell him about a present
me: (giving up on halloween) what present will you ask for?
s: i dunno. a present. that santa claus is such a good guy
me: (trying not to laugh) he is, isn't he.
s: yeah. he's just a really good guy.
