counting mileage

I'm back in Nashville. It's weird being back. It almost felt like coming home when I got here. Well, not home. But more like I'm back in the place I'm supposed to be - at least for now. I guess that's a good thing to feel since I'm here for another year. RIght?

So I know a few people doing crazy awesome road trips right now. I wanna hit the road - pull a Kerouac. Alas, I've got class and clinic starting this week. I can't complain. I've had the past month to sleep, travel, and visit with friends. Of which, I accomplished all successfully. But still, it would be cool to just go and see where life takes you. Though sometimes you don't have to go anywhere and life presents you with situations you never saw coming. I guess that can be just as much of an adventure.

Is it better to be a realist or an idealist when it comes to interacting in the world? I vote idealist. If you are always realistic about everything, what do you have to work towards?
