01. What did you do in 2008 that you'd never done before?
Worked at the theatre
Played Guitar Hero (with the cast of We Will Rock You)
Bought Nike trainers
Took Diazepam
Went to Cardiff, Manchester and Newcastle.
Had my brother come to stay in London
Made a prop
Danced on a bar
Played Extreme Jenga
Watched X Factor
Went backstage as a VIP at The Who
Bought a magazine with my friend in it

02.How did you see in the new year?
Staying in with the parents, watching the worst Jools Holland Hootenanny ever.

03. Did you keep your new years' resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
No, and no.

04. Did someone close to you give birth?
No, but an old close friend did, who is now a pole dancer.

05. Did anyone close to you die?
No.

06. What countries did you visit?
NONE. Norway was going to happen, but then it didn't.

07. What would you like to have in 2008 that you lacked in 2007?
The absence of university. Three years is a long time to be studying summink.

08. What date from 2007 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?
August 28th, when I went to go and see The Dark Knight at the Imax. It was so heavily booked we had to wait until a month after it was released to see it. We were so hyped up it was unbelievable.

09. What was your biggest achievement(s) of the year?
Getting perfect firsts all through my Shakespeare course, as well as getting a post at the theatre and working backstage.

10. What was/were your biggest failure(s)?
Some of my exam results.

11. Did you suffer illness or injury?
Nope, was pretty clear this year.

12. What was the best thing you bought?
A Le Sportsac bag via Ebay from Salt Lake City, which was twice as beautiful as it had looked in the photo.

13. Whose behaviour merited celebration?
All of us on FOH dealing with medical emergencies and theatre divas.

14. Whose behaviour made you appalled and depressed?
No-one was THAT bad.

15. Where did most of your money go?
To London.

16. What did you get really, really, really excited about?
The Dark Knight

17. Compared to this time last year, are you
i. happier or sadder? Happier.
ii. thinner or fatter? A little bit thinner.
iii. richer or poorer? Richer. Winner!

18. What do you wish you'd done more of?
Making a real effort to stay in touch with some friends.

19. What do you wish you'd done less of?
Shopping.

20. How will you be spending Christmas?
With the famille.

21. Did you fall in love in 2007?
Nope.

22. How many one-night stands?
A few narrowly avoided.

23. What was your favorite TV program?
 Doctor Who or The Wire.

24. Do you hate anyone now that you didn't hate this time last year?
No.

25. What was the best book you read?
American Pastoral by Philip Roth.

26. What was your greatest musical discovery?
Bruce Springsteen. Don't laugh yeah.

27. What did you want and get?
The perfect new housemate, the perfect summer job, and an idea where I am heading after university.

28. What did you want and not get?
A nice boy thing.

29. Favorite film of this year?
The Dark Knight.

30. What music will you remember from this year?
 Dancing on the Ceiling, Lionel Richie. Dirty, Christina Aguilera. Cookie Jar, Gym Class Heroes, and Push It, Salt n Peppa. All for various comedic reasons.

31. What did you do on your birthday, and how old were you?
I was given a horrifically graphic penis-shaped cake which made my insides die, then improved the night and went to Guana Barra in Covent Garden which is a bit like Rio Carnival indoors, drinking mojitos and dancing to Brazilian music.

32. What one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying?
A boy and not doing my English degree.

33. How would you describe your personal fashion concept in 2006?
Extreme casual.

34. What kept you sane?
Beautiful, amazing housemates.

35. Which celebrity/public figure did you fancy the most?
Dominic West, playing a drunken, womanizing Irish policeman.

36. What political issue stirred you the most?
The American election.

37. Who do you miss?
De Froment and Gladden, Scanlan, the brother and Bemily now she is in Seattle.

38. Who was the best new person you met?
Stephanie-Burt Andrews my Stage Management mentor, and Nasim Asadi, my Theatre Manager grump face.

39. Tell us a valuable life lesson you learned in 2007:
Work hard, show that you mean it and it will all come together.
