I feel like Lisa Simpson after she has found out that she has the Simpson gene. That is, a trait in her family that makes people less intelligent as they get older ( Read more... )

Dont forget that Lisa found out, not long after that, all the female Simpsons were very smart! and i think the fact that you are even worried about it is a sign that you are not getting the dumbs!

Thanks Kelly ^_^ I think maybe it's because I might be bored because I'm not actively trying to learn anything at the moment and sometimes the brain goes into hibernation mode.
So lesson being, off to the library for me to some of that reading stuff.

I was going to say the exact same thing - inspire and feed your mind with information and you won't feel teh dumb impeding into your brain. Audiobooks are freaking awesome for this, or even random web reading if you don't have the time / motivation to read a whole book at the moment. :]

Oh yeah, information does certainly drop off and skills slowly fade. That's why I love teaching, it keeps me active on every front.
You should design some felt things! I'll get my kids to make them;).

What kinds of things were you think of? Pins and the like are easy but they have pointy broach backs obviously. Maybe finger puppets?
