Yes, there definitely needs to be more Liz Forbes in my life! I was hoping for some awesome mother-daughter bonding in s3, and it didn't happen, so maybe s4 will make it up for me?

My flail is mostly D/E lately, because I'm a crazy shipper ;).

I know, I was really hoping for mother-daughter bonding in season three as they deal with the whole Caroline is a vampire and what this really means (as opposed to what Liz thought it meant), but nothing. Have you seen the deleted scenes yet? They made me happy. They missed that opportunity, maybe season four will make up for it.

Crazy shippers are most welcome here, ship away :). I've never been much of a Damon/Elena shipper, though I have shipped Stefan/Elena/Damon, but I've kind of been leaning towards Damon/Elena mainly because I ship Stefan with everyone, and Stefan with everyone won't happen unless Elena is with someone else. Also I think as Elena grows into a darker character, the Damon/Elena ship begins to make more sense to me. And I loved that scene in 3x19.

I haven't seen the deleted scenes yet! But I need to, sooner or later. I'm just waiting for the right moment ;).

Damon/Elena is my main TVD ship, mostly because of what it does for Elena and her character growth. I agree that we need darker Elena for that :).

Ugh, it's impossible to discuss D/E in one paragraph ;).

Yeah, I just sat here for ten minutes trying to describe my concept of Damon/Elena in one simple paragraph, I agree they're kind of too complicated for that. But I'll try to give it a go ;).

For me it's about them being characters who have both grown into these people who seem to only care about their loved ones, and everyone else doesn't really matter, but when it comes to their loved ones, they love fiercely, no holds barred. And that Elena understands how much of a hold Stefan and Damon have on each other. And that they find their love 'consuming'.

Cool, I'll follow you. I don't know how often I'll be using mine to post either, but I'm looking at stuff quite often.
