Jake remembers the word being an answer in one of Amy’s crossword puzzles. He never thought he would come to know it so well.

The world ends quick, a snap-back of too-stretched elastic, a cacophony of too much heat and too much melted ice.

Jake always thought he would do well in an apocalypse scenario.

First I've read in this fandom, though I've recently finished binge-watching the entire show, so I'm very into it at the moment. I did LOOK for fic, but found nothing good and dark and angsty like this... this is gorgeous, great characterization, great tone, just... LOVED it! :)

It is an amazing show, it does what it does so well. I suppose fic-wise Jake and Amy does lend itself to the fluff more than angst.

Brooklyn 99 is amazing and I would highly recommend it! (Though I feel the need to warn you that there isn't an apocalypse in the actual show).
