Sierra watches their silent gestures- a secret language borne of this place. And she watches as those who do speak are beaten and broken.

She watches as some plan, with half aborted motions and determined facial expressions. And watches as those who escape are dragged back and shot.

This was wonderful! Your descriptions are so concrete, and you conjure up a true hell. Having to re-swallow the recorder was a great touch. Even if the truth gets published, I wonder what effect it would have in a society that can allow even the sanitized version of these camps to exist. Great use of the topic.

Soooooooooo dark. You're doing a great job painting in all the shadows of your story. This entry is very shadowed and quite hopeless. Even with the recorder, one feels that this cause may not be won.
