i'm only slightly lazy
i've had a strange day. not bad, not great, but odd. i was woken up around 9:30 this morning by my cell phone, which i thought was my alarm clock. i was trying to hit snooze for a bit before i realized it was my phone. happily, it was stina calling me! hooray! we only chatted for a moment but i was thrilled to hear from her. after that i just decided to stay awake. i watched an episode of Bleach, Dane Cook's Vicious Circle (it makes me laugh, the end. i don't care if you don't like him. no offense, i'm just tired of hearing everyone's opinion on the dude.), and then Serenity which i had never seen before. that was pretty goddamn good. go joss go. i also watched last night's heroes and WOAH! that was fucking AWESOME.
after being a total bum for the whole morning and a good couple hours of the afternoon, i decided to get some shit taken care of. i updated my resume with a few new bits of info and already posted it on monster.com. i'm going to spend some of my free time over the next few days gathering together writing samples and typing up cover letters for the listings i found on craigslist. cross your fingers. i'm not expecting overnight success, but i'd like to be in a new job by july.
after i got done with that i went to curves with my mom. we picked up indian take away on the way home. it was delicious! after that i took a shower and watched shaun of the dead. i just felt like it. now i'm thinking about heading downstairs for a glass of milk and watching a movie. i'm really enjoying the rollicking thunderstorm we're having right now. it's calmed down a bit, but there are still some awesome lightning bolts and thunder rolls. have i mentioned that i really love storms? love 'em.
