better now
my throat is kind of killing me. but i've got green tea with loads of honey and ginger to keep me company. i'm in a much better mood now. my anger was shortlived. it was a weird work night. i was glad when my manager said i could go home early. i took a little drive to unwind and called lucas to ask him if he would be interested in seeing grindhouse with me over the coming week. we're going on tuesday! hooray! this makes me muy happy. lucas and i are near perfect movie companions. we're both big geeks who just love movies and even have the same viewing habits (ie: we don't talk much). so awesome.
i just got off the phone with mark. he said the movie(s) was(were) awesome. now i'm even MORE excited! he's off having dinner with the folks he saw the flick with and then we're probably going to get together. this means i will be going over his house to smoke and play guitar hero until 3 or so. hahahaha. i kind of love my social life though. it's so nocturnal and full of video games, anime, web design and killer music. what more can you ask for really?
i've been thinking a lot lately about how much i want all the different aspects of my life to just blend into one glorious mish mash of all the people and things that i love. i feel very compartmentalized these days. a lot of the processing i've been dealing with lately has been breaking down those dividers. it makes me feel more whole and less like i'm wearing different masks for different occasions. it feels good to see the structure i've built and be able to dismantle it.
off to play yet more guitar hero till i go over mark's to-- SHOCKER!-- play MORE GUITAR HERO!!
