Sorry for the haitus...
Believe me, it was NOT intentional. So what has happened since I last posted...
Well....
I moved. I changed dorms and am very much happier in my larger, better, cleaner room. My roomie and I get on fabulously, and I have the most amazing suite mates a girl could ask for.
Midterms. My first round as a college-girl. A little shaky on my performance there, but I think I did pretty well. I really had to stop and focus on them, however.
The discovery that things that should have been done last school year so that I had received some $$ were never done, so it's been a wonderful month dealing with my fantastic FinAid peeps, who love me and want to give me hugs and cookies. I don't know who said that college was so supposed to be all about that 'you're on your own' stuff, because the two heads of the department have been holding me hands throughout all of the hullaballoo.
Bank mix-up/fiasco that involved, in its resolution, an apology from the local county courts and such. But now I have money again, so it's all swell.
And about 24 hours ago: A fire in my laundry room here on campus, during which I just kept thinking "ohmigawd the sprinklers may be going off in there and there goes SLH!!! and the mix!!!".
But I am back and all is as well as can be considered. I am going to try my darndest to keep updating as regularly as possible, my dears. Any questions or comments can get posted here, if you'd like.
