Santa = Orca-bait
I just had a horrible thought...
If global warming continues as it has been, there will be no summer sea ice at all in very few years. As in, no ice at all throughout the arctic through the summer months.
What are parents going to tell their children when the kids figure out that the ice under santa's workshop just melted and it sunk out of sight, with hundreds of screaming elves and 1 fat couple quickly turning to orca-bait?
Even worse, what if the only thing that mobilizes North America to truly fight global warming is the monstrously trivial yet horrified determination of parents never to have to tell their kids that Santa is dead?
